When you’re tired and sore, thinking about moving or exercising seems like an insurmountable feat. It’s oh so tempting to cave into one of the many excuses we make for not moving. Of course, if you are
experiencing pain that is not just muscle soreness, resting and listening to what your body needs is not only important but imperative. We all know what the differences are between the two.
If you find yourself at a “mental” crossroads where the decision to take one direction is dictated by the negative mental chatter and the decision to take the other direction is dictated by the surrender of expectations, allow yourself to settle into a place to quiet your mind. Find and feel that place where you realize and remember that nothing else matters but faith, love and gratitude. Remember what your “WHY” is, stay strong and keep doing what you’re doing. You will know and believe you’re on the right path!
Take time to review your goals. Do you need to revise or redesign your goals? Do you feel like you’re on the right track? If youβre not quite sure, ask for help! Talk to your coach. Your coach is your trusted advisor and can help you to decide what changes or modifications to your plan will work best for you.
FAITH, FOCUS and FUN!! Keep up the GREAT work and never forget WHY you’re doing what you’re doing.
KEEP MOVING and ROCK YOUR LIFE! You can do anything you DECIDE to do.
I had to talk myself into not going back to bed this morning! So exhausted from a weekend a way and had to remind myself how great I would feel after class… and I did feel so great!!
Awesome Rachel!
